Hebblethwaites in Marthwaite 
It is interesting that, in addition to Hebblethwaite Hall, there is yet another farm bearing the Hebblethwaite name in the Sedbergh area of Cumbria. This is Hebblethwaites in Marthwaite (grid ref SD6335 9132) where someone bearing this surname settled, possibly in the fifteenth century. The early history of this farm has been well documented by two articles written by Kevin J Lancaster appearing in the Sedbergh Historian published by the Sedbergh & District History Society.
